The Tuf-Tite® Tank Adapter Rings (TAR) allow existing septic systems to accommodate Tuf-Tite modern risers and lids when casting is not an option. The adapters create a stable mounting surface on tank openings, allowing for secure installation.

Product Details:
  • Provides a watertight seal when installed with the recommended butyl sealant
  • Available in 24″, 20″, and 16″ diameters
  • Note about Flat Lids: When using a Tank Adapter Ring with a Flat Lid, the inner lip of the lid will recess inside the Tank Adapter Ring. As long as the opening inside the Tank Adapter Ring is clear, the flat lid should fit properly. If the tank opening is square or rectangular and exposed, that may prevent the flat lid from sitting correctly on the Tank Adapter Ring. In this situation, you will need to add a riser between the TAR and flat lid.
  • Note about Riser Pans: A riser pan will not fit on a Tank Adapter Ring if the tank opening is smaller than the inner diameter of the Tank Adapter Ring.
  • Note about 12″ Diameter Risers: There is no adapter for 12″ diameter risers. A 12″ diameter riser can be attached directly to the tank with recommended butyl sealant.
